The Young Artists Awards Gala was held on Sunday March 2, 2008 at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre.  Twenty-two student performances were featured before a packed audience; over $20,000 in savings bonds and other prizes were awarded.  The Young Artists Awards program is a not for profit performing arts audition, performance, education and scholarship program for local students ages 8-21. Sabrina Gruber, a senior at Riverdale High School, was named the Overall Event Winner for her performance of Chopin’s Scherzo No. 3 in C Sharp Minor, Op. 39.  The Winners by category are:
